The Democrats in the 24th district have been supporting Mike Arcuri for years. It would be awkward for them now to push for the health care reforms that Arcuri opposes.

The New Paltz Greens are back online, just in time to note that the Green Party has supported the efforts of the Coalition of Concerned Citizens of New Paltz by helping to promote and participating in their demonstration today in favor of meaningful single payer health care reform

The Center for Responsive Politics noted that members of the Blue Dog Democratic caucus, which is promoting a health care agenda that’s agreeable to the medical insurance industry, just so happen to have gotten an awful lot of campaign donations from the “health sector”.
