We may feel powerless before this chain of events, but there is something Corning can do to stand up to those in power. As the Green Party candidate for 7th ward Alderman, I will introduce a Bill of Rights Defense Resolution that will declare that this document has priority and authority over the Patriot Act.

Currently, the city government of Corning isn’t doing anything to protect its citizens from this unconstitutional federal spying. The present Aldermen don’t seem to think it’s their place to take a stand to protect their constituents’ civil liberties. Darin Robbins sees things differently.

As part of his campaign, Robbins is speaking about the Green value of sustainability, focusing particularly on the importance of local foods. Robbins makes four specific proposals for strengthening the use of local foods in Corning.
