2009 is a good time for a fresh start for the Green Party in Upstate New York. Our state government is in a shambles. Our local communities are suffering the consequences of downstate’s corporate implosion. The promises of Yes We Can are decomposing into a regretful sigh of Yes We Could Have.

Given the inability of the Republican and Democratic parties to effectively deal with the challenges of our time, the moment is right to offer a third way, one that matches what people need in their lives, instead of what profits corporations and powerful insiders. It’s a time for Greens in Upstate communities to recover, regroup and reorganize.
